What is Pack Hunt?
Pack Hunt is a small neighborhood scavenger hunt. Someone hides small packs of Pokemon cards in public spots around the area — things like parks, benches, or trailheads. Anyone who finds one gets to keep the cards inside.
How do I play?
- Check the homepage for a fuzzy location label, like “Uptown Waterloo, near the park.” That's your starting clue.
- Go looking! Packs are hidden in plain sight, not buried or hard to reach.
- When you find a pack, open it up — there's a printed 4-character code inside.
- Come back here and enter the code on the Claim a Pack page to mark it as found.
Rules
- First to find a pack and enter its code keeps it — codes only work once.
- Only enter a code for a pack you've physically found. No guessing.
- Please put packs back exactly where you'd expect them if you decide not to take one.
- Respect private property — every pack is hidden somewhere public and accessible.
FAQ
I entered a code and it says already found. What happened?
Someone beat you to that pack. Check the homepage for packs still marked hidden.
Can I get a hint if my code doesn't work?
No hints, sorry — just double-check you typed the code exactly as printed.
Is this affiliated with Nintendo or The Pokemon Company?
No. Pack Hunt is an independent, unofficial fan project for fun.
Will a pack ever be hidden on private property?
Never. Every pack is hidden somewhere public and freely accessible — a park, sidewalk, trailhead, and the like. You'll never need to step onto someone's lawn, into a business, or past a “no trespassing” sign to find one.
